 ABOUT US

The concept behind Wee Folk started as a true DIY creation for my own young children, but it snowballed into an even more interesting project which I could share with others. With the brilliant and precise development helmed by Colin Alden we were able to bring it to life in a grander and more sophisticated way than I had thought possible.

We’re real people in a genuinely small business that has relied on the kindness and help of other makers for which we are truly grateful. We care about our project, so if you have any feedback, questions or concerns…please get in touch!

Thanks you for your support!

Installation

INSTALL THE DOOR

Select  a wall (not a wallpapered wall unless you’ve been looking for an excuse to redo it). We like to rest our doors on the top of a skirting board. No suitable wall? You could fasten it to the back of a bookcase or another piece of furniture.

Remove tab liners from the back of the door. Position the door in place with the dot on top. Hold in place for 30 seconds. Your door is now attached and should be resilient to life and prying fingers in an hour.

INSERT A SCENE

Slip a scene card into the gap at the top between the door and the wall. Return the semicircle window to the top of the doorframe. The semicircle window is delicate and while we have made every effort to make it as resilient as possible, we suggest treating it with care.

SWAP SCENES

Lift the window upwards to remove. Open the door. Use your finger to slide the print up so you can grab it from the top.Drop in your next scene. Replace the window on top of the door...

REMOVING YOUR DOOR

Lift the window upwards to remove. Grab the bottom corners of the door and gently peel the door away from the wall to disengage the velcro.Do not pull straight off. To remove the velcro from the wall, pull down on the tabs until they release from the wall.

Safety & Warnings

wee-folk-crayon.png

While our doors are fun, they are not a toy. The door knob is small, and while it’s been triple secured it shouldn’t be left unsupervised with the smallest of humans (0-3 years old).

*We’ve worked hard to find a non-invasive mounting solution, but ultimately we are not responsible for any damage to walls or furniture. We’ve included two sets of medium picture hanging strips from Command. They are rated for a weight far in excess of your Little Door. If you have any concerns about applying to your wall surface you can find full details on Command’s website.

Apply at your own risk.
